There really is a lot of funding available to support your business.

There are 2 key steps that you need to take in order to get a grant:

First, find out what grants are available.

The vast range is actually part of the problem. A recent grant search we did resulted in over 60 pages of feedback. It takes real time to find out what may or may not suit you.

Second, you need to prepare an application.

This means producing a sound business plan, with Cashflow and Profit and Loss projections, a strong description of the business or project that will persuade the funder that YOU are a worthy case.

All investors want to see a return, including you. If it is venture capital, the individuals want hard cash, government backed grants want to see increase in your tax liability because you are making more money.
